- Still don’t have a winter coat. I think I might get the green coat I was thinking about getting earlier. Pockets or no pockets, its cold outside.
- I’ve been drinking tons of tea lately and it is glorious. I especially love Stash Decaf Spice Chai.
- I’m counting down the days to Thanksgiving. Not only is it my favorite holiday, but I have the day off work. Fantastic. Not so much a fan of Black Friday, but what can you do other than not go shopping (which is what I plan on doing).
- Hypothetically speaking, if someone you loved gave you a plate of homemade cookies for Christmas, would you be disappointed? Just, you know, wondering… because it is a cheerful, if cheap, gift, is all… and if they were going to give you homemade cookies, what would you suggest? Chocolate chip, oatmeal, peanut butter, or something a little more out of the ordinary? Because I can’t knit or crochet, but dammit, I can bake. So thoughts, please.
- I’m really excited for brunch and Handmade Arcade tomorrow. I shall share my finds with everyone too.
- No matter how many times I see this, it cracks me up:

I still look back fondly on a batch of rice krispies treats that the Boyfriend’s sister made me several years ago.

1. love the green coat!
2. cookies are a great gift idea, especially if they’re personalized, like being the person’s favourite cookie, or delivered in a decorated jar or tin.

I love the green jacket! I hope it all works out!
And the cookie thing? That’s one of my go-to presents because everyone loves cookies. And if I got cookies for Christmas, awesome.

I’d love cookies and baked goods as a gift. My favorite are chocolate chip with walnuts!

I suggest an assortment of cookies – that’s my fallback, make a batch of a few different kinds and then it’s sure to please!
I am never disappointed with edible gifts. No sir.

I always appreciate food for Christmas. I’m a big sucker for fudge too.
Last year one of my coworkers gave me a tin mixed with different types of cookies and fudge. I DEFINITELY loved it!

I’d highly recommend Snickerdoodles. They’re easy to make and they’re super delicious, and they’re just rare enough that it makes for a very happy occasion to eat them.
